I was so happy that I was able to attend M Boyer’s funeral.
Many of you may say that I have only attended the funeral because
I am into cameras or videos. No dears, believe me, I would have gone
with or without cameras
Infact, taking cameras is a big risk not that it might be lost or
stolen but the risk of being caught JoeGoaUk red-handed.
I am sure you all understand why I take cameras with me.
Thank you for not tracking me down.

- Everything got over just before 6pm. Funeral was on time 3.30 pm like in most
cases.
- M Boyer’s house is about a KM away from the church, Funeral should have
taken in a procession rather than taking in a hearse van.
- 22 priests concelebrated mass. I think Fr. Conceisao was the main celebrant
- M Boyer grave is very next to Murel Faleiro grave (wife of Eduardo Faleiro)
at the entrance below the from compound as seen in the video
- Arrangement was made for free drinking water bottles and soft drinks.
- The little talk which is usually given after the funeral could have
been organized in a better way. Perhaps, out side the cemetery with
a stool or stand to stand on it. Sound system was arranged in the
cemetery with generator.
- Mike metha, Ben Evangelisto, Anil Kumar, Fatima, a band drummer (Abdnonio?)
etc spoke.
- The musicians/brass band could have played more of M Boyer’s old

- People say and even some tiatrists say that there should have been more
tiatrists.
I am sure, if there were no tiatr on the day after 3pm, there would
have been more. However, I understand, many tiatrists like CD Silva
etc paid their respect to M Boyer in the morning/afternoon

So many people paid tearful farewell to Tiatrist Padmashree M. Boyer
who died on 30th May 2009.
What I really like was the number of tiatr personalities who made it for the funeral

M Boyer who was bedridden for last three years after suffering from
Parkinson’s disease, is survive by his wife Maria Efrezinha and

Very well organized funeral of a Tiatr celebrity. I would say, better than M Boyer.
Brass band played almost all H Britton’s populars at home, during the procession and at the church.
Funeral procession from the residence to the Church for about half a Kilometer. This is the way it should be.
Most Funerals are now using short cut. i.e. The Hearse van
takes the body/corpse from the residence to the Church directly.
No matter how far the Church is, there should be a
funeral procession for at least 300-500 meters. It looks nice.
After all, it’s the last journey and we should walk along.
As said, there were about 50 Tiatrists. It was very nice of them too.
Fr. Mario Pereira was the only celebrant
Tiatrist Jessie Dias did the first reading.
Choir consists of H Britton nieces and Britona locals.
H Britton’s daughter, Son and the grand son said a few words about their father/grand father and thanked to all.
Tiatrists carried the coffin from the Church to the Cemetery (Pics were sent earlier).

RIP: H Britton Died on 24th Sept and interred on 27th Sept.2009. He was 73. Upto 50 Tiatrists can to pay their last respect. List of tiatrist seen was posted eealier. Plus there was Teotonio and a per Herald there was also Patrick Dourado, Bond Braganza, Xavier Paclo, Xavier Marcarenhas. Bonaventue d’Pietro Funeral pics, tiatrists pics and video posted yesterday.
